You're Twintimidated
You're feeling the (double) weight of it all — and that’s totally normal!
Take a breath, ask for help, and remember: no one’s ready until they have to be. You've got this.
You're Curious and Capable!
You’re doing your homework, prepping your gear, and keeping a good attitude.
With a few more burp cloths and backup plans, you'll be well on your way!
You're a Twin Warrior!
You were born for this! You've got the mindset, the gear, and the humour to handle whatever twin life throws your way.
Double diapers? Bring it. Midnight meltdowns? You’ll be the calm in the chaos.
So the question is, when should you really be “ready” for twins?
That depends on where you are in your twin pregnancy. What you’ll need, and how urgently you need it, changes a lot between the first and third trimesters.
While there’s no exact deadline, one thing is fairly predictable: twins tend to arrive early (around 36 weeks on average). To avoid last-minute stress, and the scramble of assembling cribs at 37 weeks, it’s a good idea to have most essentials ready by 30 weeks.
That gives you time to breathe, rest, and focus on their arrival.
